Terms of service
Last updated: 2 November 2026
1. Who these terms are for
These terms apply between Menuseum ("Menuseum", "we") and businesses that use Menuseum for a restaurant, café, bar or similar venue ("you"). Menuseum is offered to businesses only.
2. The service
Menuseum provides a website, QR menus, TV menu boards, printable menus, staff screens, kitchen ticket printing, ordering for the table, pickup and delivery, payment links, table bookings with card guarantees and deposits, a waitlist, event requests, gift vouchers, a guest list and e-mails to your guests. Features depend on your plan. We may improve and change features; we will not remove core features of a paid plan during a paid period.
3. Plans, trial and payment
The free plan includes the QR menu and a menu website. The paid plan costs $9 a month or $79 a year per location, plus VAT where it applies. New accounts can try the paid plan for 30 days without payment details. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at the end of any billing period.
4. Payments from your guests
Online payments from guests (orders, bills, deposits, no-show fees, vouchers, event deposits) are processed by Stripe on your own Stripe account, under Stripe's terms. Menuseum charges no commission on them. You are the seller towards your guests and responsible for prices, taxes, receipts, refunds and any fiscal or cash register obligations in your country.
5. Card guarantees, deposits and no-show fees
You decide when a booking needs a card guarantee or a deposit and how much it is. The guest sees and accepts your terms before booking. A no-show fee is only charged when you press Charge; make sure it matches what the guest accepted and the law of your country. Deposits are refunded automatically when a guest cancels in time; refunds for other reasons are your decision.
6. Delivery, vouchers and events
You deliver with your own drivers and decide zones, fees and times; delivery times shown to guests are estimates. Gift vouchers are your vouchers: you decide their value and validity and you honour them, also after your plan ends. Offers for events are made by you and are binding between you and the guest.
7. Your content and your duties
You are responsible for your menus, prices, allergen and diet information, photos and texts, including machine translations you publish. Check allergen information carefully. Send news to guests only if they agreed to it. Don't use Menuseum for anything illegal or misleading.
8. Domains
A domain included in the paid plan is registered in your name and renewed while the plan is active. If you cancel, you can transfer the domain to another registrar; otherwise it expires at the end of its registration period.
9. Availability
We aim for high availability but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance happens at quiet times where possible.
10. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential obligations, limited to the damage typical for this kind of contract, and in total to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the damage.
11. Data protection
We process your guests' data on your behalf under our data processing agreement, which is part of these terms. See the privacy policy for details.
12. Ending the contract
You can delete your venue at any time in the settings. We may end the contract with 30 days' notice, or immediately for serious breaches such as fraud or illegal content.
13. Final provisions
The law of the country where Menuseum is run applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If a provision is invalid, the rest remains valid.
