Frequently asked questions

Do guests have to pay online?

No. You decide: pay right away, pay at the end from the phone, or ask the staff for the bill and pay by cash or card as usual.

What if a guest leaves without paying?

Use 'pay first' mode for counters and cafés, or let waiters close the bill as usual. Open bills are always visible on the floor screen.

Is Menuseum a certified cash register?

No. Menuseum takes orders and online card payments through Stripe. Where the law requires a certified till for cash payments and receipts, for example in Germany, keep using it for those payments.

Can two guests at the same table order separately?

Yes. Everyone scans the same table code and orders from their own phone; all orders land on the same table bill and can be paid separately.

What does it cost?

Order and pay at the table is part of the $9 plan, with 0% commission. Stripe charges its standard card fees.
