A self-order kiosk on any tablet.
Put a tablet on the counter: guests browse your menu with photos and allergens, order in their language and pay at the counter or by scanning a code with their own phone. The kitchen gets the order, the guest gets a number.
- Works on an iPad, Android tablet or touch screen

How it works
- 1
Open the kiosk page
On the tablet, open menuseum.com/kiosk. It shows a code.
- 2
Pair it in the dashboard
Type the code under TV screens → Self-order kiosks and choose how guests pay.
- 3
Lock the tablet
Use Guided Access (iPad) or app pinning (Android) so guests stay on the kiosk.
What you need
- • A tablet (any iPad or Android tablet from the last years) with a browser, on a stand with its charger.
- • Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- • Optional: a receipt printer at the counter for order slips, and a TV for the 'now serving' board.
What it costs
Kiosks are part of the Menuseum plan at $9 a month per location, with as many kiosks, staff screens and TV boards as you like and 0% commission. Card payments on the guest's phone go through Stripe at Stripe's normal fee, straight to your account.
Card readers at the kiosk itself (tap a card on the kiosk) are not supported yet; guests pay at the counter or on their phone.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a special kiosk device?
No. Any tablet with a modern browser works. Many venues use a 10–13 inch tablet on a floor or counter stand.
Can guests pay by card at the kiosk?
They pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on their own phone by scanning the QR code the kiosk shows, or at your counter. A card reader attached to the kiosk is not supported yet.
What happens to unpaid kiosk orders?
Orders to pay at the counter wait on the cashier's screen and only reach the kitchen once marked paid. Phone payments that aren't finished expire after 15 minutes.
Is it a fiscal till?
No. Where the law requires a certified till (for example in Germany, Italy or Poland), keep your till for receipts; the kiosk shows a 'not a fiscal receipt' note.
Try it with your own menu.
Free QR menu forever. Everything else free for 30 days, then $9 a month. No card needed to start.
