Card guarantee
The card is saved on your Stripe account. The no-show fee is charged only when someone on your team presses 'Charge no-show fee'.
Deposit
Paid when booking, refunded automatically on a timely cancellation, kept on a late cancellation or no-show, and taken off the bill when the guests are seated.

Table held while they pay
The table is held for 20 minutes while the guest saves the card or pays the deposit.

Booked by phone? Send the card or deposit link by e-mail from the booking.

Frequently asked questions
Is it legal to charge a no-show fee?
In most countries, yes, when the guest agreed to it in advance. Menuseum shows the terms before the card is saved and keeps the acceptance with the booking.
What does it cost?
It's part of the plan at $9 a month per location. Stripe charges its normal fee on the money actually collected.
