Set up a self-order kiosk
Any tablet at the counter: guests order and pay at the counter or on their own phone.
- 1On the tablet, open menuseum.com/kiosk. It shows a 6-character code.
- 2In the dashboard open TV screens → Self-order kiosks, type the code and press Pair a kiosk.
- 3Choose how guests pay: at the counter, with their phone, or both. Optional: ask 'eat here or take away?' and a first name.
- 4Lock the tablet to the kiosk: Guided Access on an iPad, app pinning on Android. Keep it on its charger.
Kiosk orders get a number starting with K. Orders to pay at the counter wait on the cashier's screen and reach the kitchen once marked paid; phone payments go straight to the kitchen when paid. Ready orders appear on a 'now serving' TV board.
Tip: If a guest walks away, the kiosk asks 'Are you still there?' and starts over with an empty basket.
